Begin your sacred journey with a scenic drive from Haridwar to Barkot, enjoying beautiful mountain views and the fresh Himalayan air. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax, preparing for the spiritual adventures ahead. This peaceful hill station sets the tone for the pilgrimage.
Start early with a drive to Janki Chatti, the trekking base point to Yamunotri, the first sacred dham. Embark on a trek of approximately 6-7 kilometers through lush forests, or opt for a pony or palanquin ride if preferred. Once at Yamunotri Temple, take a holy dip in the natural hot springs and offer your prayers. After a soulful experience, return to Barkot for rest and overnight stay.
After breakfast, take a comfortable drive to Uttarkashi, known as the ‘Kashi of the North’. En route, admire the scenic landscapes and upon reaching, visit famous temples including Prakateshwar Mahadev and Vishwanath Temple.
